The worst customer service I've ever experienced - I keep getting this message that there's some suspicious activity on my account whenever I try to use the service, and I can't even log into my account due to it being frozen, with no information on how to fix it. I have called, as suggested, multiple times over many months and have only received the same response every time that the issue needs to be escalated to verify my identity.
Then I never hear back in any capacity whatsoever. They don't offer any other means that I've been able to find for assistance either.
They say to log into your account for better service, but I can't even do that. What am I expected to do here?

Refund issue
I recently sent back a purchase to Amazon and they said they refunded my money to the payment method, which was my debit card. I have not received that refund and when I contacted them, they said they do not see anything online regarding it.
This was a purchase that I used affirm to pay for. I currently have one more payment to affirm. How will I receive my refund? Will I need to make that last payment first?
Is affirm the group who will refund my money. Amazon has stated it is already refunded to my debit card

I have waited so long for them to help me change my account information because a private event in my life caused me to change numbers and email for safety reasons. I have called them in the past and am now trying again.
Somehow, someone has closed my case, and someone else has submitted this case over and over again.
I have waited for a total of about 7-8 business days combined and they lie, claiming they will get back to you within 3-5 business days. It's ridiculous and unprofessional.

Hi I'm very upset affirm took it upon themselves to apply a refund to a lone that doesn't exist if you look at the pay now trans action that was taken out of my account for 597.78 was for two transactions one was on March 13 one was for 197.78 and the other 400 bucks. Neither one was converted into a pay later loan.
There was a partial refund that's associated with the 197.78 transaction for 5.31. After things couldn't be worked out between me and the seller I sent the item back and 187.03 was refunded. The problem is that I refunded to a loan that it doesn't exist/doesn't belong to instead of sending it to my bank account. I paid for the 197.78 in FULL and DID NOT take out a loan.
Affirm decided to on there own without my permission send the refund to one of my other loans I have out with eBay WITHOUT my permission. I have no pass due balances on any of my plans and all are paid up to date. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Please correct the issue as your agents are limited and don't seem to understand outside of there capabilities of what happened.
I spoke with two supervisors and one finally converted this into a case her name was Jab that was the name given. Case#2736****

Verified BuyerDO NOT USE. They will charge you however many times they feel after you’ve paid off your loan amount.
I recently purchased an item with Affirm with the understanding you pay in four increments. I did that and even paid off the last two payments at once to close the loan.
Come to find out, three additional payments were taken out of my account after I completed my loan 3 months later. They claim they have no trace of these payments and now are forcing me to do a chargeback with my bank! Totally unfair for me and my bank.
I have yet to get a refund as my bank is investigating, smh. They will rob you until you find out.

Hello, this is the 7th time I have reached out to Affirm. I have no issues repaying my loans through Affirm.
However, when I log into my account, I am unable to see these outstanding loans, just one from Temu. Until I am able to see the outstanding balance on my account, I will not be making any payments. If you can fix my account so I can see any outstanding balances or any overpayments needed to be paid, I can clear this up immediately. I am very busy as I have work and a child.
I have called multiple times and gotten nowhere with customer service. This is my paper trail now, requesting you to fix this issue immediately.

Preferred solution: I would like to view my loans so I can make a payment. I am not making a payment when I am unable to view my loans or access my account. They have been charging me for months but won’t allow me to view what is outstanding.

Wow, I really like this company because it's easy to navigate and very modern! Also, it's widely accepted!
Almost everywhere, like PayPal. The only issue, though, is the interest! There's no way you can get a 0% interest rate; it's high! That's my only issue with it.
The interest rate varies depending on your credit score.
Another issue is that it takes 3-5 days to process the payment! It's easy to use, but the interest rate is a tough pill to swallow!

Six months ago I moved from an apartment complex to another apartment complex. The old apartment complex stated that I owed them back rent that I did not pay during my residency at the complex.
I asked them to send me a report showing my total rent payments while I was a resident there and it showed I did not owe any back rent whatsoever. When I informed them I would not be paying the money they accused me of owing the complex they entered a statement of collection on my 3 credit reports which is a false statement. I contacted all 3 credit bureaus and I furnished proof why I would not be paying the alleged owed money. It made NO difference at all and none of the agencies would agree to remove the collection statement.
They all stated the collection would remain on my credit reports for 7 to 10 years. I am now finding it impossible to get approved for a loan from any lender and I will not be able to obtain a loan from a lender during the ENTIRE time the collection statement is on my credit reports. I contacted Affirm and explained the entire situation to them to try and get the loan declination reversed. I was told by Affirm it is impossible to obtain a reversal and I would have to keep trying to submit an application even though attempts to obtain credit would mean my FICO scores would go down.
CATCH 21 I WOULD SAY!!! The agent from Affirm was not negative in her advisement but she acted like she was in a rush to get me off the phone.

I paid for something I never got and disputed it. I contacted the carrier, the seller, and Affirm, but I was forced to pay for it.
I had other loans and was told that if I didn't pay that specific one, it would lock me out of my account. As a result, I defaulted on all of them and was just waiting until they went to collections to pay off the ones for things I actually received. Affirm, however, doesn't offer Good Will or Pay to Delete services, so my credit is ruined. I have no issue paying off everything I actually got, but they forced me to pay for something I didn't receive.
They made it sound like a replacement was offered by some senior personnel and the seller, but they never followed through and ignored me. If they would offer Good Will after payment or Pay to Delete, I will pay off everything except the one item. This has ruined my credit and no matter what I do, it's on there for seven years.
I can't do anything with my credit, even with secured credit cards. I've reached out to them over a hundred times now about this, but nothing has changed.

I purchased a wig using Affirm. They immediately took the first payment, which was totally fine, but then I returned the wig and they would not return that payment.
They also would not communicate with me after I attempted to reach them several times. I have used this company before with no problems, however, this is the first time I made a return. I will not be using it again.
I would not recommend this company, but I would be very careful if you do. I am very angry and disappointed.

I never got a loan. Affirm took the full amount, which makes no sense.
Why would I pay the full amount to Affirm when I could have paid the full amount to Temu? Affirm operates like a scammer. Temu refunded to Affirm immediately, yet I'm still waiting on my refund. I'm going to let everyone know not to deal with Affirm.
Why would Affirm take full payment if I was not approved? I will never use Affirm again, they are scammers, period.

Affirm is a scammer. I applied for a loan but was told I didn't get approved, yet they took the full amount of my purchase.
If I wanted to pay the full amount, I would have paid Temu directly - it makes no sense. Temu refunded the money immediately, yet I'm still waiting on my refund.
Never use Affirm, use Afterpay - they are the best. Affirm is a scammer.

I learned a valuable lesson with them from now on if I can not afford it at the time I will not get it, I will not get sucked into this small loan crap this has definitely caused me hardship. For their error and reporting. I used them to build up my credit in the end they caused me to lose a mortgage due to there remark of late payment, which never happened Thanks so much AFFIRM.
