Complaining about the service you "dont" have.
in may I ordered a typewriter (mint green) it is August and I still dont have a refund! Affrim should be responsable for all the grief I have gone thru?
Walmart Claims they mailed back to me ( I never saw it!) I will never pay a penny back ( I dont owe you money) you owe me $143.00 to you because I know this is all a scam. I will not be buying anything from Affrim and Walmart and I will tell anyone I know to not buy from you!
User's recommendation: Don’t buy anything from Affrim, You will be locked in for live. They lost my Typewriter (I was trying to return it) suddenly there was no help at all! I lost $143 dollars to them. They were supposed to send it to me but it went to a Walmart doesn’t have it ? And Affirm said they sent it back to Walmart!! 3 months latter and I don’t have anything from Affrim and Walmart said they didn’t have it!

I loved Affirm at first until I changed my phone number and email address. I have spent the last six months and dozens of phone calls trying to get them to update this info.
I have not had these problems with any other company. Ridiculous!

I purchased a chainsaw from Walmart.com and paid with Affirm. The chainsaw was defective, so I returned it.
However, I had already paid $80 of the $140 owed. I received a $15 refund from Affirm. When I contacted them, I was initially informed that I didn't receive a full refund because Walmart didn't issue a complete refund. After verifying with Walmart and contacting Affirm again, they mentioned they don't refund paid interest.
Hence, they retained $65 for an item that I purchased through them. It was defective, so I returned it!

After making a purchase but before the first payment was due they shut my account off so no payment could be made. In order to restore service they wanted all my private info including my SS number.
This company Service Department is based in Indonesia. I refused. It took several calls and a supervisor to finally make some progress on restoring service. This only happened after mush arguing.
I never did give my SS#, so why did the first few Service Reps demand it??? This company is not to be trusted.

When I called and gave the agent the information I had from both the website and the app, he was very unprofessional, rude, and nasty. Whatever you do, avoid Affirm and ShopPay at all costs.
They do not care about their customers or disabled customers. Agents need more training on how to treat customers with courtesy and respect.

Still unresolved. Worse, it's been ignored.
Several contacts via Affirms own problem reporting form.
This gets a nonreply link saying someone is working and within 48 hours yeah yeah. NO ONE EVER FOLLOWS UP!

I kept getting reminders to pay which were repaid. Weeks passed, the check cleared and AFFIRM said they were refunding my overpayment. More time passes and NO check ever came. No rectified statement, nothing.
Reaching anyone in Customer Satisfaction is a waste of time and temperament - they don't exist other than where English is a 3rd language. I offered several plans all of which were ignored despite promises of acceptance via calls.
For sure never trust anyone with phone name 'Linda' or 'Steve'
Confirmed that Affirmed is beyond dishonest. Use layaway!

Unable to complete application due to photo will not upload. I have had this problem ever since having to change my phone number I have not been able to use affirm even though I am in perfect standing with my loan payments for years and have current purchasing power I er $2000 I am not allowed to use this payment option all because of device technical difficulties.
It isn't fair, it's not right, and there is no one to help resolve the problem. As a result Affirm has lost a good long time customer.
Failure to approve my 4 payment plan when I have used it several times before.
I want to know why I wasn't approved and I will use Klarma in the future.
...I have nothing else to say to your disappointing company that I have used before.

I am not able to upload my driver's license due to technical difficulty it just will not process this has been happening since I changed my phone number had to change my phone number now I'm not able to use affirm my new phone will not process so I use the old phone as instructed by affirm agent which I still happen to have that has the old number on it which seems to go further into the application process but still will not upload the identification so that I can complete the application process it just keeps buffering so today affirm has lost a long time good standing customer due to technical difficulties while affirm is taking my payments monthly I've been a customer for years always in good standing I have over $2,000 in purchasing power available but I'm not able to use it due to technical difficulties and no one that will help me resolve the issue you have lost a good standing customer today and I have lost affirm as a payment option which I have been using for years. This is not fair it is not right it's unsettling you are taking payments out of my checking account every month several several and always on time you should be willing to help me resolve this instead you're willing to lose a customer over it along time customer.

If you use Affirm, that's great, but if you happen to have any issues at all, their customer service is horrendous. They close the chat channel without assisting you, and no, it doesn't time out, it's within seconds of you responding.
In other words, if it's an issue they don't want to deal with, they won't. I've always been on Autopay for every single bill; they removed Autopay without telling me. The phone representative I was finally able to get to said he didn't understand why it fell off; a system issue, apologies, etc. I paid it.
It took me two hours to get to the point of 'we don't know what happened.' That's not acceptable. You need to know and be able to help accordingly.

I’m experiencing the same thing. I was using affirm and had paid down my balance and one day my year of birth was changed somehow.
I had $2000. Worth of purchasing power but couldn’t use it. Nobody can explain how it happened? It’s been some months and still nothing.
They are still taking out money from my account but my purchasing power is frozen! They are so full of it
